Is there any limit to the amount I can send ?The limit depends on the country from where you are sending the money and its regulations. What are the charges?Charges depend on the country from where you are sending the money, thou we assure you that our charges are the lowest in the category making our service the most competitive yet reliable. 6. How do I send money?Simply visit your nearest NepalRemit® agent and fill out the remittance form. The attendant of the agency would guide you through rest of the procedure, its as simple as 1-2-3. Will you give Cash or Cheque at the receivers end?We generally pay out in Cash unless the receiver prefers to be paid by Cheque/Draft. A small extra charge may be associated with Cheque/Draft payment. 11. How soon are the account credited, if transferred to bank account?The time taken for account credit depends on the bank. If the bank is online, it will be credited same day, otherwise it can take 2-3 working days. Generally, within 3 working days, the account will be credited. 12. Can I also receive money from Nepal?No, Nepal does not allow transfer of money outside the country. 13. How do I know whether the money has reached?You can contact your remitting agent to check the status of your transfer or you can check the status of your remittance online. This is available on real-time basis. 14. How does my beneficiary know where to pick up the money?This information has to be given to the beneficiary yourself, additionally the center which receives the payment instructions can call your beneficiary to collect the payment from them, if the telephone number is provided. 15. Will I receive a legal receipt at the branch for sending money?Yes, all transactions are recorded, by providing signed and stamped receipts from the agent. All transactions are legal and are done through banking channel only. 16. Am I insured against fraud incase the money is collected by an imposter? How do you prevent such incidents?Yes you are! Incase of any fraud that has been perpetuated without your knowledge, it would be deemed as an internal matter and would not affect your transaction. 17.
